User instructions for Plastic Cases - Kufsahod

"Kufsahod" for Arm Tefillin
	Open the Kufsahod for arm Tefillin by freeing the clasp-lock. Note: When Tefillin are inside the Kufsahod always be careful to open it face-down to prevent the Tefillin from falling out. Gently place the Tefillin into (or remove from) the Kufsahod, making sure that the outer cover is face down. Close the Kufsahod, making sure to lock it.
	Place the small Tefillin loop against the opening on the side of Kufsahod Coil the Tefillin strap around the right side (the side with the hinges) seven or eight times.
	Pass the remainder of the Tefillin strap along the bottom of the case, and coil around the left side of the Kufsahod. Either insert the end of the Tefillin strap into one of the clips on the side of the Kufsahod or slip it under one of the already-coiled straps.

"Kufsahod" for Head Tefillin
	Open the Kufsahod for head Tefillin by freeing the clasp-lock. Note: When Tefillin are inside the Kufsahod always be careful to open it face-down to prevent the Tefillin from falling out. Close the Kufsahod.
	Place the head Tefillin knot ("Dalet" or "Merubah", square) against the outer right side (the side with the hinges) of the Kufsahod. Insert the head straps ("kanfei Yona") into the designated clips on the side of kufsahod.
	Insert the head straps ("kanfei Yona") into the designated clips on the side of kufsahod. Draw strap A that comes out of the head Tefillin knot ("Dalet" or "Merubah", square) across to the left of the Kufsahod and coil it around that side.
	Draw straps B, too, along the bottom of the case to the left side of the Kufsahod, joining it with the first strap for a half coil around the left side. Then coil the remainder of the strap around the right side. Either insert the end of the Tefillin strap into one of the clips on the side of the Kufsahod, or slip it under one of the already-coiled straps.
